Samantha is a sweet friend who had baby Ava in February. Ava's nursery is so cute & I had fun painting a few things for it. At the time, Javis Davis created custom baby & kid bedding, but they are no longer doing that. :( This is what their website says:
Although Mary Lou is stepping away from designing bedding for babies and kids, she hopes you will keep an eye out for the new Javis Davis website that will focus on her beautiful doll beds. She is busy creating accessories, doll clothes, and craft projects that little girls are going to love. The website should be up and running in May. For Javis Davis fans in Alabama, you will be able to visit Mary Lou in May at her studio located in beautiful downtown Fairhope at the Windmill Market!
It seems as though Samantha got lucky & was one of the last ones to get custom baby bedding from Javis Davis. Anyway, here is a photo from their Facebook page showing some of the Bertie stuff, which is what Samantha chose for Ava's nursery. It's all so cute!

Recently, I've had a lot of orders come in for the free-standing letters. These were done for a little girl named Winter. Her mom told me the colors & designs for them, which were going to be out at her birthday party. Hope you had a great one, Winter!
Have I mentioned how popular these are??

I have loved art my entire life & have been painting for almost as long. For a while, I have been painting/customizing gifts for friends & finally decided to start The Peek-A-Bootique. I have been called "Boo" for longer than I can remember, mainly by my sister, but also by other family members & close friends, which is how I came up with the name The Peek-A-Bootique.
I offer hand painted, personalized gifts & decor & this blog was created to keep you up to date on what's going on with The Peek-A-Bootique. I hope you enjoy!
